about Laurie

I received my White Belt in 2009 and am currently a Licensed Blue Belt Nia Instructor. I fell in love with Nia in 2006 when I was in a period of recovery both spiritually and physically. I was nervous and hesitant about stepping into doing Nia but a friend of mine told me "You have to try it! You will love it." My first Nia class was at 9th St Dance and my friend was right. My body was in a total state of gratitude. It was what was missing from my life. I have never stopped dancing.… I have been a practicing massage therapist since 2001 and I am passionate about dog rescue.

If you are a senior with a Medicare benefit such as Silver Sneakers, you are covered.

Laurie is suspending the Sunday class for the summer, but will reconsider adding it back in the Fall.
